AMI Procedures

  • District families will be notified through the regular communication (phone call, text, social media) utilized by the District and their child’s school, when an AMI day is scheduled.
  • On AMI days electronic and/or web-based assignments and materials will be available for students to access from Google classroom. When possible, hard copy assignments will be provided as requested.
  • Teachers may conduct a live zoom check-in with their classes at the beginning of their class to ensure all students are aware of the expectations and can clarify any questions as needed. If no Zoom is required Google classroom should state otherwise.
  • Unless instructed by the teacher, students should follow their regular class schedule for the day for Zoom check-in.
  • Student attendance will be recorded on days when AMI is assigned and will be documented by the completion of assignments and/or online participation in activities and assignments for all students; In-Person and Virtual.
  • Teachers should be able to respond to emails throughout the day to assist students/parents as needed.
  • Teachers have communicated with students on how to access the AMI information.
